Of all the brands that I've worked with, Puma is up there with the most innovative. Whether is has been embracing unknown artists to design their ads, or going all 'Banksy' and stencilling Puma logos on street furniture - they've always tried to stay a step ahead.
I worked with Nike on some golf projects 2 years ago and suprisingly - they were the opposite. It takes so long for their corporate machine to turn that it doesn't give as much room as you'd think for new ideas.
Attached here is also the banned viral ad that Puma denied all knowledge of (for obvious reasons), even though it brought shed loads of additional publicity to them. Genuine fake or more cleaver advertising?
